About Us

    Members of HRMA (Human Resources Management Association of Central Massachusetts) represent a depth of experience and range of disciplines from which human resources professionals can draw advice and share ideas.

    Founded in 1946, HRMA is one of New England’s strongest and most vital human resources organizations.  The group is comprised of over 100 practitioners and human resources consultants who are committed to developing their skills and advancing the human resources profession.  Its goal is to foster adherence to higher standards of performance and greater professionalism in all phases of the human resources profession.

    HRMA is an affiliate of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, which is one of the largest internationally recognized human resources organizations.

    The expansion of the human resources function and the changing environment in which human resources professionals work require ongoing professional development.  Being a member of HRMA provides an edge in managing and anticipating critical human resources issues which allows for the implementation of business strategies that add overall value to the organization.

    An annual membership roster is published each fall with a listing of HRMA’s 100+ members and their sponsoring organizations, along with addresses, telephone numbers, and email.  This is an invaluable tool you’ll use repeatedly for reference and networking.  Industries represented within HRMA include, Banking, Education, Government, Healthcare, HR Consultants, Human Services, Insurance, Legal Profession, Manufacturing, Not-For-Profit, Retail, Service Organizations, and Utilities.
